To ensure a comprehensive and effective learning experience for students from Junior Secondary School (JSS) to Senior Secondary School (SSS) levels, JLD i-Academy, a structured schedule that blends live sessions, ready-made lesson notes, and virtual workshops. Our academy is designed to support both free and premium members, with a focus on career preparation, academic excellence, and overall personal development. We understand the importance of providing flexible, accessible, and high-quality education.

  • 4 Days per week

  • 1 hour per subject (e.g., Mathematics, English, Science, etc.)

  • Morning Session: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Evening Session: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Subjects: Core subjects (Math, English, Science, Social Studies) + Career-focused electives (e.g., Business, Information Technology, Digital Marketing).

  • Premium students will have access to advanced lesson materials, including detailed explanations, case studies, and extra exercises for enhanced learning.

  • Monthly Mock Exams & Tests: To assess progress and reinforce learning.

  • One-on-One Mentorship (Optional): Personalized mentoring sessions with career coaches or subject experts (30 minutes once a month).

  • Internship Placement Assistance: Help with finding internships or volunteer opportunities for real-world experience.

  • Career Development Coaching: A dedicated coaching program to guide students through career decisions, skill-building workshops, and resume writing.

Learning Phases

Phase 1: Enrollment & Orientation (1 Month)

Students enroll in the online education program and go through an orientation process.

Introduction to the platform, courses, available tools, and resources.

Phase 2: Basic Academic Foundation & Introduction to Skills (6 Months - 1 Year)

  • Students begin with core subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, ICT) to build a strong academic foundation.

  • Introduction to basic artisan skills (such as basic carpentry, tailoring, and other vocational skills).

  • This phase establishes a base knowledge that students can build upon for specialized learning.

Phase 3: Specialized Skills Development (1-2 Years)

  • Students choose a specific career or artisan skill pathway, such as advanced carpentry, plumbing, tailoring, etc.

  • Focus on industry-specific skills, with both practical and theoretical coursework.

  • Academic subjects related to chosen pathways, such as business studies, economics, or advanced mathematics.

Phase 4: Hands-On Experience & Internship Opportunities (6 Months - 1 Year)

  • Students gain real-world experience through internships, apprenticeships, or hands-on projects.

  • Application of learned skills in practical settings, such as working with businesses or in workshops.

  • Building professional experience and confidence in chosen career paths.

Phase 5: Certification & Final Skills Assessment (1 Month)

  • Students undergo final assessments to evaluate their knowledge and skills.

  • Certification in the chosen artisan field or academic discipline.

  • Students earn credentials that qualify them for job opportunities or entrepreneurship.

Phase 6: Career Support & Job Placement Assistance (Ongoing)

  • The program offers career counseling, job placement assistance, and connections to employers in relevant industries.
